Why did Shah Rukh Khan thank his fans in Kolkata?

Shah Rukh Khan is a pleased man as his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders stormed into the playoffs of Indian Premier League 2016. Ever since the reins of Khan’s team has been taken over by the powerhouse player Gautam Gambhir, it has won two IPL titles. Things are looking bright for the team this year too.

Kolkata Knight Riders’ faith rested in Yusuf Pathan who stormed them into the playoffs after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad. This was an eventful moment for Shah Rukh Khan who soon took to Twitter and thanked his fans in Kolkata for their love and support. He also thanked Cricket Association of Bengal president Sourav Ganguly.

Shah Rukh Khan requested his fans to continue with their love and support for Kolkata Knight Riders through the playoffs.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is awaiting the release of Rahul Dholakia’s ‘Raees’ that will hit the theaters in January 2017. Khan has also wrapped up Gauri Shinde’s next that has Alia Bhatt co-starring with King Khan.
