Why fashion icon Sonam Kapoor hates the term ‘fashionista’?

Actress Sonam Kapoor, looked upon as a fashion icon by the youth, says she hates the term ‘fashionista’.

“I hate the word fashionista. There is a difference between being fashionable and stylish. One should be comfortable with what he or she wears. One should smile and be confident,” Sonam told reporters here.

The 31-year-old ‘Neerja’ star was talking at the launch of the latest Oppo mobile phone.

“I am happy to be associated with Oppo mobiles and with Hrithik Roshan (also an ambassador of the brand). They have grown by leaps and bounds,” the actress said.

“I love taking pictures. I love taking a lot of selfies. It’s important to smile while you take pictures. I smile a lot,” she added.

Cricketer Yuvraj Singh and celebrity photographer Daboo Ratnani were also present at the event.
