Why ‘Fitoor’ movie has made Katrina Kaif angry on director Abhishek Kapoor?

‘Fitoor‘ an upcoming romantic film by director Abhishek Kapoor, known for his previous works like ‘Rock On’ and ‘Kai Po Che’ is constantly facing many troubles. Katrina Kaif who is playing the lead actress in the film is reportedly not happy with the filmmaker. Let’s get to know the reason behind it.

‘Fitoor’ has completed its shooting schedule and is currently in the post production stage. But Abhishek Kapoor is not satisfied with the final output of some scenes. Sources say, “Abhishek is disappointed with the way the film is shaping up. He is so infuriated that he has called for a re-shoot of a lovemaking scene between the film’s lead pair Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif, which he believed wasn’t up to the mark.”

This news didn’t go down well with Katrina Kaif. “Katrina is angry with the director and strongly disagreed on the point of re-shooting the entire sequence. In fact, till the last moment, the crew had no clue if the shoot was happening at all. Eventually, the producers calmed Kat down and got her to agree to the scene again. But not before she threw a major fit. Intimate scenes are not easy to do. And then to re-shoot them is a bigger pain” added the source.

‘Fitoor’ is a project facing constant problems with many delays in it’s way. Actress Rekha who was playing a important role in the film decided to quit the film after shooting for a couple of scenes. The ageless diva was then replaced by Tabu.

‘Fitoor’ is an official adaptation on Charles Dickens’s novel Great Expectations. The film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Rahul Bhat and Akshay Oberoi. It is slated to release next year on February 12, 2016.
