Why is Ranbir Kapoor going to jail?

Ahem… the handsome hunk Ranbir Kapoor might soon land in jail! But before you let your imaginations fly, let us tell you, it is just for a film!

Ranbir, who is prepping hard for the biopic of Sanjay Dutt, will also have to live the time that Dutt spent behind the bard for illegal possession of arms. As a part of the film, he is set to have a taste of imprisonment!

For the same, director Rajkumar Hirani has received warm help from colleague Farhan Akhtar, who has already built a large jail to be used in his next film ‘Lucknow Central’. (Also Read: Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif to re-shoot ‘Jagga Jasoos’ scenes?)

Ranbir also paid a visit to Dutt to know more about his life in prison; so that he could get the feel right. He will be living a number of phases in Dutt’s life and is undergoing intense physical training as well. A latest picture of the ‘Barfi’ actor suggests he gained quite a few kilos.

The biopic will also feature Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Vicky Kaushal.
