Okay, here’s an interesting titbit for you. TV heartthrob Barun Sobti who is set with his Bollywood outing ‘Tu Hai Mera Sunday’ along with co-star Shanana Goswami, was asked not to indulge in social media while on the sets. The reason is a valid one.
Thanks to social media, nothing is secret to fans these days. We come to know which city our favourite stars are flying to and where would they shoot. In fact, incidents wherein stars end up getting mobbed, are on a rise every day!
‘Tu Hai Mera Sunday’ has been mostly shot across open locations in Mumbai. The makers didn’t want the same to happen to Barun and Shahana. Moreover, he didn’t want any kind of pictures from the sets to be leaked as well. Hence, no social media on the sets please! “While shooting on a skywalk bridge in Vile Parle one day, several fans gathered for Barun making it tough to shoot as most of the film has been shot in public places. Thus the makers felt it was only right in order to complete the schedule in time to avoid the cast from staying away from social media or posting any image or any information of their whereabouts,” a source said.
Smart!
