We’ve come across actors who go the extra mile to look and play their part to the T in the films if their role demands such a drastic transformation. There have been so many transformation stories we have heard of and been startled by. So at a recent event actress Disha Patani was quizzed on the similar lines.
When asked if she would go bald for a role, Disha said that she wouldn’t mind doing it if the script demands and if it will benefit the narrative. Speaking to a news agency, the actress said, “To think of it, my decision will be based on how passionate I am about the script. If I strongly feel it will benefit the narrative, I will go ahead with it.”
On why many actresses are averse to the idea of experimenting with their hair, Disha says, “Most of the actresses have multiple commitments — from films to endorsements — that require us to maintain a particular look over a long period. Hence, there is never an opportunity to experiment with hair so we just settle for a neutral look we can work with across projects.”
The actress who is a brand ambassador of a hair colour product says, “I think colouring your hair is the best way to get a new look. Since childhood, my mother made sure I oiled my hair and conditioned them properly every week. I still follow that regimen. Plus, I have naturally good quality hair.” (Also Read: Disha escapes an awkward moment at LFW, thanks to boyfriend Tiger)
On the work front, the actress has started shooting for ‘Baaghi 2’ with Tiger Shroff. She is all praise for her co-star as she says, “Tiger is like a perfectionist. He is a focused man and is someone who inspires me. Whatever he does, could be dance or action, he gives his 1000 percent. I have worked with him on an album and it was so hard for me to even stand next to him when he is dancing. He goes into a different zone and is very passionate. We are very good friends as well. So I think for us it will be easier to work together as we used to dance together. So there is certain kind of understanding that we have. I know for a fact that I have to really work hard to be able to match up to him or to be able to just stand next to him.” [sic]
‘Baaghi 2’ is directed by Ahmed Khan and it will be releasing on April 27, 2018.
