It is a known fact that all is not well between Kajol and Karan Johar. There was a time when the two were very good friends, and Karan would consider Kajol as his lucky mascot. However, with a turn of events, things changed. The actress is currently busy with the promotion of ‘VIP 2’, and recently a news agency asked her about collaborating with Karan once again.
In reply, Kajol said, “Let me put it this way, I am not answering any questions on that particular point. If any of my other friends want to offer me a film I’ll definitely do it.”
“If you’re not comfortable with the people you’re working with, if you cannot speak up, or speak to the people you’re working with… I think communication is a key element in working with people. You can’t work alongside them if you don’t talk,” she added.
Talking about Kajol, Karan in his book ‘An Unsuitable Boy’ had written, “She can never come back to my life. I wouldn’t like to give her a piece of myself to her at all because she’s killed every bit of emotion I had for her for 25 years. I don’t think she deserves me. I feel nothing for her anymore.” [sic] (Also Read: Kajol: What happened to Suhana Khan sounds like bullying)
Kajol has worked with Karan in films like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ and ‘My Name Is Khan’. She had also done cameos in Karan’s films like ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ and ‘Student of the Year’. Reportedly, Kajol was supposed to do a cameo in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ too, but due to their friendship turning sour she wasn’t there in the film. It was also said that the cameo Karan had written for Kajol was the one Alia Bhatt had done in the film.
‘Eat Sleep Bollywood Repeat’ is his life Mantra. Dance is his first love and Rani Mukerji is his eternal crush. He is someone who loves being himself, and as for the ones who don’t agree, his reply? “Talk to my hand!”
