WOAH! Aamir Khan alone has earned Rs 175 crore from ‘Dangal’?

Aamir Khan is one of the most bankable stars in Bollywood today. All of the actor’s films go on to make huge business at the box office and ultimately offer great return to the actor as well.

Just like his last few ventures, his last release ‘Dangal’ too has been a blockbuster. The movie went on to become the highest grossing Indian film of all times, as it collected a whopping amount of approximately Rs 532.56 crore. (Also Read: WATCH! And let us tell you that the producers are not the only ones who are reaping the benefits. The film’s lead, i.e. Aamir Khan himself, too has earned a huge number for his impeccable performance in the flick, as he was in a profit-sharing partnership with the makers.

An industry insider reveals, “Aamir himself has earned a humongous Rs 175 crore (approx) from the film with the kind of profit-sharing partnership he entered into with co-producers Disney UTV. While he took Rs 35 crore upfront he also took 33 per cent of partnership as he always does for his films. And will take 33 per cent royalty in whatever money the film earns in the future, including satellite rights.”

Woah, this is some insane amount of money, don’t you think?
