Actress Kangana Ranaut will be delivering a speech at the ‘Gandhi Going Global’ summit which will be held in the United States. And the icing on the cake is that she will be sharing the stage alongside former First Lady of the US Michelle Obama and talk show host and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey.
The initiative’s motto is to spread Gandhian philosophy globally through interactive activities, educational programs, motivational talks and cultural events. The event will be held on August 18 and 19. (Also Read: Kangana reveals how fellow Bollywood actresses let her down)
Sharing her state of mind, Kangana said, “For me, its always been about the impact you make on the society and how you contribute to it. Sharing the Stage with Michelle and Oprah will be inspiring. I’ve never been anybodys fan but I admire and idolise women like Oprah. Once I get back to Mumbai, i will know exactly what I be talking on and for How long , depending on which I will prepare my speech.” More than 25000 attendees are expected to visit the event.
Workwise, Kangana has wrapped up the shooting of ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ and will soon start work on her next project ‘Mental Hai Kya’ with Rajkummar Rao.
