Women’s Day 2021: Sunny Leone celebrates being a ‘self-made’ woman after facing sexists comments and criticism

Sunny Leone started her journey in Bollywood after her stint in the reality show Bigg Boss. She made her way into Bollywood after facing a lot of criticism and is now among one the very known names in the industry. The Baby Doll hitmaker has broken many norms, from adopting a baby girl to successfully running a business in India and the US, Sunny has only had an applaud-worthy journey.

So today, on the occasion of Women’s Day, Sunny took to her social media account and shared her success story and how she is a strong self-made woman now after facing sexists comments and criticism.

Sunny took to her Instagram and shared a video of herself, dancing to Katy Perry’s Roar, she revealed that she received hate emails at the age of 21, judgemental and sexists comments, she was criticized for her dance moves while receiving no offers and support from the industry fraternity along with being boycotted at the award shows. But, despite all of this she rose up and is living her dream life.

Sunny gave the biggest blockbuster hit of all time with the Baby Doll music video, launched her own makeup line and is a successful businesswoman. She concluds the video by saying that she is proud of herself as she is a self-made woman.
