Woohoo! Ranveer Singh turns brand ambassador of Switzerland

Snow clad mountains, scenic view of nature and romance in the air, is what Switzerland is famous for. At least, in the mind of all Bollywood moviegoers, Switzerland is perfect destination for love birds. So what can get better than getting a Bollywood personality on board to promote the tourism of this beautiful country? So apparently, Bollywood’s current lover boy Ranveer Singh, has been roped in to promote tourism of Switzerland.

According to reports, ‘Befikre’ star Ranveer has signed a contract with the Switzerland tourism board. He would be the brand ambassador of Switzerland for 1 year and would feature in a campaign that would kick start in January 2017.

Ritu Sharma, deputy director, Switzerland Tourism India, was quoted saying, “Since the image of Switzerland as a romantic destination was created by Bollywood, it makes sense that we use a Bollywood star to introduce the other lesser known aspects of Switzerland to Indians. Being a versatile, energetic and adventurous personality, Ranveer Singh is the perfect spokesperson to showcase what a fun packed holiday experience Switzerland is.”
