World Environment Day 2020: Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma, Bhumi Pednekar raise awareness about mother nature

On June 5 the entire globe celebrates the World Environment Day which was founded by the United Nations to increase ‘worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment’.

Several Bollywood celebs like Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanjay Dutt, Kartik Aaryan, Arjun Kapoor took to their social media handles to raise awareness about mother nature and to urge their fans to be more conscious and take care of nature and animals.

Talking about the importance of biodiversity, Akshay shared a video alongside the caption, “This #WorldEnvironmentDay, let’s join hands to restore our bond with Mother Earth.”

Celebrating World Environment Day, Raveena Tandon has decided to lend her support to a noble cause which aims at spreading the importance of water consumption. The actress will be present for a special Live session talking about Mission Paani.

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai speaking on the occasion said, “It’s the need of the hour to inspire our countrymen for a clean and green India and be aware of playing with nature. As always the students from the music school  at Whistling Woods International even under lockdown have composed and created this fresh music video on mother nature.”

Unless we all become climate-conscious we won’t be able to save nature. Even one step matters a lot. Let’s pledge to be more sympathetic towards our environment and animals.
