Salman Khan is a wonderful person, and everyone, right from his peers to his fans, have only good things to say about him. The actor is known to do innumerable charitable deeds through his Being Human Foundation, and is known to be a warm person. However, now, there is yet another good deed that is going to be added to the actor’s name. The superstar is soon going to be the face of BMC’s anti- open defecation campaign.

We have only known one person to endorse the cause openly, and that is Vidya Balan. Now, even Salman Khan has given his voice to it, and we feel that now many common people will be relating to the cause of anti- open defecation.

The statement has come from the Asst. Municipal Commissioner Kiran Dighavakar. He said, “His (Salman Khan’s) presence will enhance the campaign’s reach. We have not chalked out the exact details of the campaign yet. However, we will place mobile toilets at all chronic open defecation spots, including the ones in Bandra. All chronic open defecation spots, community toilets are being constructed every 500 metres and contractors are being appointed to maintain them. In areas where construction of permanent toilets take time, we are installing mobile toilets.”

The main reason for such a decision on Salman’s part, was the fact that the actor did not like people openly relieving themselves in front of his Bandra flat. Hence, he took the decision to not only support the cause, but will soon be launching five mobile toilets through his Being Human Foundation.

No official statement on the same has come from Salman Khan though.
