Wow! Saiyami Kher to star in a chick flick?

Actress Saiyami Kher made her Bollywood debut in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Mirzya’ opposite Harshvardhan Kapoor. If reports are to be believed, then this newbie will star in a chick flick next year.

She has been roped in by Rajshri Ojha for an untitled project. Rajshri Ojha had previously directed ‘Aisha’ that starred Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in it. Saiyami Kher’s debut vehicle ‘Mirzya’ did not live up to audience expectations, but the actress got noticed. Apart from this movie, Saiyami will be seen in Mani Ratnam’s next. She said, “It should have taken off last year. Hopefully, it will go on floors in the next few months. Mani sir’s film, an eclectic blend of genres, is a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu.”

Saiyami has earlier worked in a Telugu film called ‘Rey’ in the year 2015 and she has been a successful model and was also a part of the Kingfisher calendar. For those unknown, Kher is the granddaughter of yesteryear actress Usha Kiran and the niece of Tanvi Azmi.

On the personal front, Saiyami is in a steady relationship since 6 years with a man who doesn’t belong to the film industry.
