Wow! The ‘Fukrey’ gang returns, Sequel confirmed by makers

The year 2013 saw one of the best coming of age comedy film ‘Fukrey’ arriving in theatres giving an instant fame to newcomers like Pulkit Samrat, Ali Zafal, Manjot Singh and Varun Sharma. Today, after a gap of three years they all are returning to entertain their fans with the sequel of this movie.

Recently, the producer of this movie Ritesh Sidhwani confirmed the sequel saying, “When we were promoting Dil Dhadakne Do, we were constantly being asked why we aren’t spinning sequels since several of our films could lend themselves to franchises. Since the characters of Fukrey become really popular, we have decided to retain the original cast, along with director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba.”

Apart from retaining all the male leads, it will also feature Richa Chadda who appeared in the first part as Bholi Punjaban.

This Mrighdeep Singh Lamba directorial will go on floors in the month of August in capital city Delhi.

Today fans recognise Richa Chadda, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal and Manjot Singh for their continuous good work but surely ‘Fukrey’ is one movie which cemented their credibility as a performer in Bollywood.
