Wrestler Mahavir Phogat gives Muharat Clap for Aamir Khan’s Dangal

Superstar Aamir Khan’s upcoming biopic Dangal was launched with a bang in Ludhiana. The Muhurat shot for the film was given by wrestler Mahavir Phogat on whose life the movie is based upon. Present on the occasion were cast and the crew of the film along with producer Siddharth Roy Kapur and the Phogat family.

Sources said,”Aamir had a long chat with the wrestler and his family members. Siddharth Roy Kapur, the producer of the movie, also joined the team for the first shot. To add authenticity to the movie, Aamir has gained 35kg for the role.”

Produced by Disney and Aamir Khan Productions, Dangal is slated to release on Christmas 2016.
