Kajol
Spotted promoting her upcoming Tamil film, 'Velaiilla Pattadhari 2' (VIP 2) with South Indian superstar Dhanush, Kajol was clicked wearing a double layered red ensemble from Label Anushree which she teamed up with those tassel earrings from Ritika Sachdeva. Verdict - Okay, let's review this straight; while Kajol's separates were good enough, we were seriously left wondering about the choice of her earrings. Actually, her dangling earrings clashed with the elegant look and failed to blend in.
Gauahar Khan
Snapped at Estella, Juhu, Gauahar was seen wearing a peplum jumpsuit with an abstract print that simply looked like an art on the canvas. A pair of metallic heels, diamond studs and a white clutch accessorised her look very well. Verdict - First of all, we surely liked her guts and the fact that Gauahar was experimenting with fashion, but a jumpsuit with such a loud abstract print was way too much for our delicate eyes. In short, your artistic style stint was a blunder babe!
Kriti Sanon
Styled by Sukriti Grover, Kriti was spotted having a gala time with her co-stars from the upcoming flick, 'Bareilly Ki Barfi'. Wearing a hand embroidered ensemble which featured a black crop top and antique gold skirt from the label Aekatri, Kriti made a fashion crime. Verdict- While Kriti's crop top, chic hairdo and the statement earrings coupled with a subtle makeup were on point, the skirt was riddled with creases and did nothing to highlight Kirti’s lithe and towering frame. BAD!
Neha Dhupia
For the launch of her Saavn podcast #NoFilterNeha season 2, Neha opted for a handwoven sari. Styled by Sohaya Misra, Neha wore a beautifully crafted monochrome sari by Anavila Misra. She added some extra charm to her look with the help of that edgy military-inspired jacket from Shantanu & Nikhil’s ‘The Regiment’ collection. Verdict - 'Aunty ji, Aunty ji, get up and dance'! Yes, this is the line which pops on our mind first when we see Neha in the above outfit. Like, we will not lie that the handwoven sari isn't pretty, but pairing it up with a long jacket, WHY? In short, Neha's sari stint was a total FLOP!
Neha Sharma
Spotted at the premiere of the film 'Mubarakan', which features her in a crucial role, Neha's unusual attire was a supreme fashion blunder. Opting for an off-shoulder crop top in black with a dangerous plunging neckline which she paired with those baggy ripped jeans, Neha just had us screaming "Who is your stylist?" and not in a good way. The stylist needs big time style lessons. Verdict - We will not talk much about your crop top, as it was bad but still better than your bottoms. Now, let's come to the baggy distressed jeans part, Neha for God's sake in the name of experiment, you can't just do anything. Instead of those jeans, you would have opted for a good fit jeans which automatically would have accentuate your sexy bod. Nonetheless, you literally look like a gunny bag in those torn-out jeans. Lastly, although this week many celebs failed to cater to our style sensibilities, we certainly laud them for strutting with an enviable aplomb and hope they enchant us with some better styles next time. Until then, stay tuned and stay stylish!
It’s an old saying that, fashion fades and innately relates to the external while style being eternal corresponds to the internal. Also, you all will agree at some point that fashion is undeniably an instant language that connects the masses, while style goes on to elevate this perception to a whole new level. In a race to be on the top of the style meter, some tinsel town divas take the help of the most sought-after stylists. (Also Read: Holy shit!
