Yo Yo Honey Singh’s wife Shalini Talwar files domestic violence case against the singer

Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has landed into trouble as his wife Shalini Talwar has filed a domestic violence case against the singer. As per a report in ANI, the case is filed under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act on August 3. The reports also stated that Delhi’s Tis Hazari court has issued a notice to Honey Singh and sought his response on the domestic violence allegations.

“Case filed against Bollywood singer & actor ‘Yo Yo Honey Singh (Hirdesh Singh) by his wife Shalini Talwar under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. Delhi’s Tis Hazari Court has issued notice to the singer and sought his response over it,” read ANI’s tweet.

As per reports, the court has given time to the singer until August 28 to file his response. Shalini in her application has alleged that she was ‘subjected to numerous incidents of physical abuse, verbal, mental abuse and emotional abuse’ by Honey Singh, his parents, and his younger sister. She has alleged that her husband got addicted to alcohol, drugs, and anabolic drugs. She also said that he got arrogant and abusive and would have sex with multiple women. She even found out about his affair with a Punjabi actress. Talwar even mentioned that the differences between them started from their honeymoon in 2011.

They got hitched on January 23, 2011, and they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary this year.

Honey Singh is yet to comment on the matter.
