YOU GO GIRL! Adhuna Akhtar takes back her maiden surname. She is now Adhuna Bhabani

Break-ups and splits may be common in Bollywood, but our B-town celebs too are people, who suffer huge mental and emotional pain while going through this difficult time.

2016 came in as a shock for all us movie-lovers, with news of our favorite couples partying ways. From Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif to recently added Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande, the year has just kept breaking our hearts. One such ideal couple who took separate roads was Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Akhtar. The two, who were ones madly and deeply in love parted ways. But Adhuna is sure a strong woman. She has always made sure have a career and name of her own byrunning chains of her B:Blunt salons, instead of being called a trophy wife.

Even though, it is extremely pivotal for girls to take on their husband’s name after marriage and to keep it even after they get separated, Adhuna clearly does not believe in the philosophy. Soon after her break-up with Farhan, Adhuna immediately changed her name back to Adhuna Bambani. From her social networking handles to her media circles, she is now called as Adhuna Bambani.
