You won’t believe how much Salman Khan is being paid to replace Shah Rukh Khan

In a shocking turn of events, Shah Rukh Khan is apparently being replaced by good friend Salman Khan as a host on an award show.  Not only this the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is being paid Rs 2.5 crores to host the upcoming award show along with likes of Karan Johar and Kapil Sharma. Though the nominations and performers for the night have been fixed the hosts are as yet unable to decide between SRK and Salman.

The makers of the show had been pursuing Salman since long now as they felt his combination with the other two hosts will be a surefire hit. Rumours suggest that apparently Salman Khan has accepted the proposal to host the show at the cost of 2.5 crores.

Sources revealed, “The anchoring of the awards functions has become tedious to do and watch. How many combinations can one watch Kapil Sharma and Manish Paul in? Salman is a masterstroke. He is popular and Bigg Boss has proved what a fabulous host he is. He was pursued relentlessly and the pay cheque is close to `2.5 crores.”

But rumours abound that SRK who has always been a favourite host of the awards at the award function has been finalised for this year too. He will be taking centre stage with Karan Johar and Kapil Sharma at the function that is to take place this weekend.
