You won’t believe how much these background dancers earn

A dance number is one of the most important elements of a Bollywood film. We always concentrate on our lead actors who are giving their best in a dance number. But, these celebs are accompanied by background dancers who are simply outstanding. However, we might not concentrate on them much in the songs, but we are sure that your eyes will go wide once we tell you how much these background dancers earn.

Earlier, the background dancers were picked up randomly and were made to dance behind the star. However, it later changed in 90s when choreographers came to the limelight and then started training the stars as well as the background dancers.

Well, background dancers, who dance much better than our stars, don’t really get a good scope. However, their pay cheque is not a smaller one. If reports are to be believed, these background dancers earn around Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh in a month. These payments vary from film to film.

So, next time even concentrate on background dancers, as the amount they earn is a not a smaller one.
