‘Gur Nalo Ishq Mitha’ (The YOYO Remake) song: Honey Singh brings yet another recreated version of the chartbuster

Music composer and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh had been giving us a sneak peek into his next song ‘Gur Nalo Ishq Mitha’ since the past few days and today, the song has been unveiled.

Sharing the video of the remake of the popular pop song, Honey Singh wrote, “India’s first-ever #Bhangra #Hiphop song #GurNaloIshqMitha with Desi Kalakaar @yyhsofficial and Golden Star @malkitsingh_goldenstar is out now.”

The song is a recreation of an old Punjabi classic made in Yo Yo Honey Singh style. In the music video, we see Honey groove to Bhangra along with the legendary singer Malkit Singh and model Navpreet Banga. The song is super colourful and gives a cool vibe. However, if you loved the original version, then you might find this remake totally unnecessary.

The song is choreographed by the very famous Bhangra crew B Funk. ‘Gur Nalo Ishq Mitha’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar and co-produced by Yo Yo Honey Singh. You can check out the song below:

Speaking about the song, Honey Singh said, “This is the biggest collaboration of my life. I was around 12-15 years old when I heard his song. Then Malkit Singh made a remix of it during my younger days. I never thought I would be able to collaborate with someone like him. Around eight years back, he sang in my album International Villager but due to some reason, we couldn’t make a video of that song. I’m excited that Malkit comes in the hook line and shoots with us for this song. This is big thing for me. I’m sure everyone will love this old school-new school combination because we have kept Malkit Paji’s hook line as it is but the music, beats and my verses are very urban.”
