YRF announces release dates of 5 movies including Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Prithviraj, Jayeshbhai Jordaar

Yash Raj Films (YRF) finally makes the much-awaited announcement. For over six months, fans had been waiting to know the release date of YRF films including Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer Bunty Aur Babli 2, Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Vaani Kapoor starrer Shamshera, Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar starrer Prithviraj, Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

Arjun and Parineeti’s film which was delayed for the longest time will finally release on March 19, 2021. The film was earlier supposed to release in 2020 but due to lockdown, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar was pushed further. This will mark Arjun and Parineeti’s 3rd collaboration with each other after Namastey London, Ishaqzaade. The two had made their debut together. It will be followed by Bunty Aur Babli on April 23. Bunty Aur Babli 2 is a sequel to the hit Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji starrer. The sequel stars Rani and Saif Ali Khan in a special appearance with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari in lead roles. Next up will be Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor’s action film Shamshera which will release on June 25. Shamshera also stars Sanjay Dutt and is said to be made on a high budget. Shamshera will see Ranbir perform high octane stunts with the help of VFX. The short teaser released earlier was enough to raise expectations for the film.

Shamshera will be followed by Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The Ranveer Singh starrer releases on August 27 and will see the actor in a never-seen-before avatar. Next up, will be Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar’s period drama Prithviraj on November 5. Prithviraj is a period drama and is currently being shot in Mumbai.

With such a fabulous lineup, YRF has surely made it special. The coveted production house recently clocked 50 years.
