Actor Zareen Khan entered Bollywood by making her debut in Veer alongside Salman Khan. Unfortunately, her career didn’t take off as one would hope it to be. She then went on to star in Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu and Tamil films. Khan was a part of Housefull 2, Hate Story 3, Wajah Tum Ho and more. Zareen was last seen Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele which was released in Disney+Hotstar. Besides this, rumours were rife saying that people think Salman is still helping her with the work in the industry.
Speaking about the same, Zareen mentioned people still assume that. She stated that even though she is grateful to Salman Khan for making her entry into the industry, she feels that she cannot be a monkey on his back and bother him for small things. “A lot of people still have that assumption,” Khan shares to Hindustan Times.
“I’m thankful to Salman because I would’ve never entered the industry if it was not for me. He gave me an entrance to the industry. But my struggle started after I became a part of the industry because then I knew nothing. Salman is an amazing person but he is also a busy man. I cannot be a monkey on his back and bother him for little things. A lot of people to date think that all the work I do is through him and that’s not true. Salman is a friend and just a phone call away but I’m not pestering him. And that undermines the struggle, the hard work that I’ve done,” the Housefull 2 actor continued.
