Zubeen Garg health update

The health condition of Assam’s popular singer Zubeen Garg is improving said his sister Dr. Palme Borthakur. We spoke to Palme and while talking about her brother’s health condition, she said, “He is far better now and recovering. Most probably he will very soon start working but not in the studio maybe. For a few days, he will be kept in the hospital itself for best.”

“He will be soon shifted to the ward from the ICU and doctors will let us know,” added Palme

Also, we spoke to one of Zubeen’s childhood friends who said that Zubeen is stable now and he has been given a tablet in the ICU for his entertainment. He said that Zubeen was very irregular with his eating habits and didn’t take care of his health properly which led to weakness.

For the unversed, Zubeen was admitted to Nemcare Hospital, Guwahati after he lost consciousness in the midst of an event being held at the Gauhati Town Club. People around the singer panicked when they saw the singer losing his consciousness and they were trying to make him drink water and hold him. He was immediately rushed to the ICU and kept under observation.

The state politicians and his fans and well-wishers prayed for the well being of the singer.

Zubeen has contributed a lot to the Assamese, Bengali and Bollywood music industry. In Bollywood, he is known for lending his voice for songs like ‘Ya Ali'(Gangster). Also, he sang for movies like ‘Fiza’, ‘Strings- Bound By Faith’ and ‘Kaante’.
