Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Andhadhun’ crosses Rs 200 Cr at the Chinese box-office

‘Andhadhun’ has been going all guns blazing at the Chinese box-office. The film which stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte, Tabu, Anil Dhawan and many others has been breaking records one after the other in China. People are lapping onto the film, and all we can say is that ‘Content Is The King’ when it comes to China.

Trade Expert Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the box-office figures of the film. He wrote,”#AndhaDhun crosses $ 30 million / ₹ 200 cr in #China. Biz on [second] Sat and Sun is *higher* than [first] Sat and Sun… [Week 2] Fri $ 2.03 mn, Sat $ 4.45 mn, Sun $ 3.78 mn. Total: $ 30.06 mn [₹ 208.17 cr]… Power of solid content! (sic).”

Taran even went on to say that the film’s box-office collections are among the top four Indian films in the country. The others in the list are ‘Dangal’, ‘Secret Superstar’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Hindi Medium’. He wrote, “Top 5… Highest grossing *Indian films* in China. 1. #Dangal 2. #SecretSuperstar 3. #BajrangiBhaijaan 4. #HindiMedium #AndhaDhun is all set to surpass *lifetime biz* of #HindiMedium and emerge the fourth highest grossing film in #China (sic).”

Soon ‘Andhadhun’ will overtake ‘Hindi Medium’ and that will be a great feat in itself. The way the movie is trending it won’t be wrong to say that it might be the one film which could touch the figures of ‘Dangal’ right at the top of the heap.
