‘Baadshaho’ and ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ show a drop in numbers on Wednesday

The new releases ‘Baadshaho’ and ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ witnessed a drop in numbers on Wednesday as the Eid weekend was over. Talking about Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta and Ileana D’cruz-starrer ‘Baadshaho’, the movie minted Rs 3.75 crore nett on Wednesday. The movie was hit due to no holiday on Wednesday. The total business of the movie stands at Rs 51.10 crore nett. Going by the current trend, the week should finish around Rs 54 crore nett and the fate of the movie depends on the eighth day numbers.

The other release ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ also witnessed a drop in numbers for the same reason. The movie raked in Rs 2 crore nett on Wednesday taking the total business to Rs 21.29 crore nett approximately. In spite of the drop in numbers, the movie is in a decent position and the week should end around Rs 23 crore nett. Clearly, we see that the movies dropped due to no holiday factor as the Eid period is over. But, if you have to compare the drop in numbers, then ‘Baadshaho’ has shown more drop than ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’, as the latter has only dropped by Rs 75 lakh.
