Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi-starrer ‘Bank Chor‘ fell by almost 40% on the first Monday and did a business of Rs 90 lakh approximately at the box office.
The movie which started off on a low note did a business of Rs 2.95 crore in the first weekend. Though the movie saw a drop on Monday, it was not as bad as it was expected to be, especially if you compare it to films like ‘Raabta’, ‘Sarkar 3’ and ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’.
As compared to those, the numbers of ‘Bank Chor’ are still better as there were no expectations from this brainless comedy (as they promoted themselves).
The current collection of movie is Rs 5.25 crore nett and going by the trend, it should finish at around Rs 7.25 crore nett in the first week. (Also Read: ‘Bank Chor’ movie review: Full of surprises, a perfect blend of comedy and thriller)
