Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 box office: Kartik Aaryan starrer crosses another milestone on Day 11

Breaking the lull of Hindi films at the box office, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 emerged as the ray of hope and a big winner upon its release on May 20. The Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu-starrer has been going super strong and neither the same day release Dhaakad or the last week’s release, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Anek has been able to slow down its momentum even a little. The film is just raking in moolah at the box office and crossing one milestone after the another and it’s second Monday, also proved to follow that trend.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 crossed Rs 100 crore at the box office this gone weekend, and the Sunday figures took that figure even higher. Now, the collections for the second Monday are also out and the film is holding rock steady. On Day 11, the film raked in Rs 5.5 crore, taking the total to Rs 128.24 crore, thus crossing yet another milestone of Rs 125 crore at the box office.

Here is a detailed day-wise breakup of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 collection:

Week 1: Rs 92.05 crore

Day 8: Rs 6.52 crore

Day 9: Rs 11.35 crore

Day 10: Rs 12.77 crore

Day 11: Rs 5.5 crore

Total: Rs 128.24 crore

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is now slowly marching towards the mark of Rs 150 crore and if it continues on this path, the film might achieve that milestone in its third weekend. However, this Friday will see two big-budgeted releases with Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chhillar and Sanjay Dutt-starrer Prithviraj and Adivi Sesh’s pan-Indian film Major. Both films are made on a grand scale and boast a renowned start cast. This Friday will also see a big Tamil film release with Kamal Haasan’s Vikram that also features some more big names like Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, and owing to the pan-Indian popularity of these stars, the film might also occupy a large portion at the ticket counter. So, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has 3 more days, including today mint in as much money as it can without any competition. How these new releases will affect its momentum eventually is yet to be seen.
