Box-Office Report: Salman Khan’s ‘Race 3’ rakes in 120 crores

Salman Khan’s multi-starrer action thriller ‘Race 3‘ may not have impressed the critics, but it surely has struck the right chord with the audiences. The movie’s collection at the box-office is a proof the same. Within just three days, Remo’ directorial raked in 100 crores, also adding it to the list of his lead actor Salman Khan’s 100 crores club movies. No wonder, this one will also break many more records like his previous films.

While the movie fared extremely well over the weekend, but then it was Monday, which is always crucial for any film considering it is a weekday. But then this is Bhai Ka Film, and for the same, it does not matter whether it is a weekday or a weekend. So yeah! ‘Race 3’ maintained rock steady on Monday as well, as the film collected 14.24 crores over the box-office. Which means that adding up the collections from Friday-29.17 cr, Saturday- 38.14, Sunday-39.16 cr, the action thriller is now ruling the BO with 120.71 crores. Renowned film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the numbers on his Twitter handle like always. He tweeted,”Race 3puts up a STRONG TOTAL on Mon… The decline on Mon [vis-à-vis Fri: 51.18%]… Mass circuits/single screens are holding very well, while plexes have started sliding downwards… Fri 29.17 cr, Sat 38.14 cr, Sun 39.16 cr, Mon 14.24 cr. Total: ₹ 120.71 cr. India biz.”

Salman Khan’s ‘Race 3’ is directed by Remo D’Souza and also features Daisy Shah, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Freddy Daruwala, Saqib Saleem and Bobby Deol. The film is produced by Ramesh Taurani under his production house Tips Films.
