Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter’s debut film ‘Dhadak’ is turning out be fruitful with each passing day. After becoming the highest opener for the newcomers, Karan Johar’s venture is now speedily forwarding towards collecting half century figures.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office numbers of ‘Dhadak’s day five box office collection. Taking to his Twitter handle, he wrote, “#Dhadak is trending very well on weekdays… Biz on Mon and Tue indicates it has sustained beyond its opening weekend… Emerges a HIT… Fri 8.71 cr, Sat 11.04 cr, Sun 13.92 cr, Mon 5.52 cr, Tue 4.76 cr. Total: ₹ 43.95 cr. India biz.”

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, ‘Dhadak’, is an official adaption of popular 2016 Marathi film ‘Sairat’, by Nagraj Manjule, which was based on the theme of honour killing. While the original version was based in Maharashtra, Khaitan’s directorial takes us on a trip to the land of palaces, Udaipur. Speaking about Janhvi’s upcoming projects, the debutante hasn’t signed any movie yet.
