Produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the movie released on July 20. ‘Dhadak’ is an official adaption of the 2016 Marathi film ‘Sairat’ by Nagaraj Manjule. Just like Manjule, Karan Johar introduced us with two new faces in the industry, Shahid Kapoor’s brother, Ishaan Khatter and Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor.
