‘Housefull 4’ Box-Office Report: Akshay Kumar’s laugh-a-riot film shows a dip in collections on Day 2

It’s a celebration time for the entire team of ‘Housefull 4’ as the film charts the highest numbers in the whole franchise. Not only this, but the film also has a huge extended weekend ahead of it, which means that the collections will keep on growing every day. After the first day collection of Rs 19.08 Cr now the film has collected Rs 18.81 Cr on the second day taking the total to Rs 37.89 Cr.

Trade expert Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the news. The ‘Housefull’ franchise is one of the biggest comedy franchises in Bollywood and has always performed extremely well at the box-office. ‘Housefull 4’ has become the most successful movie of the franchise as it charts the highest numbers until now.

The film is receiving a great response as the audience is loving the laughter riot and enjoying the light-hearted entertainment during the festive season. Footfall is increasing in the coming days. Even though critics have hated the film, it’s the audience who eventually are spending their bucks to come out to the theatres and watching the movie.

Talking of the film, the comedy of errors stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, and Kriti Kharbanda in double roles as the story revolves around reincarnation.

‘Housefull 4’, directed by Farhad Samji, released over Diwali and is facing tough competition at the ticket windows from other releases like Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy starrer ‘Made In China’ and ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ starring Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar.
