After working together in box office hits like ‘Student Of The Year’, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’, Alia and Varun recreate their magic once again on screen. Their fans couldn’t stop raving about their chemistry. ‘Kalank’ also becomes Alia and Varun’s highest ever Day 1 collection beating ‘Gully Boy’ and ‘Dilwale’ respectively.
Surpassing the first day collections of recent blockbusters like ‘Gully Boy’, ‘Total Dhamaal’ and ‘Kesari’, the period drama becomes the highest opening of this year.
The film which released on a semi – holiday of Mahavir Jayanti seem to work in it’s favour. The upcoming holiday, Good Friday, is also likely to boost its collections at the box-office. The film is being shown on 4000 screens across India.
