KGF 2 box office: Yash starrer refuses to slow down as it crosses 5 crores on day 27

Among many films, KGF 2 is the one that is taking the box office by storm. The film has been making some serious box office records ever since it was released on April 14. Talking about KGF 2 Indian box office collections, Yash starrer has refused to slow down as it has collected over 5 crores at the box office on day 27. As per the latest numbers, KGF Chapter 2 has hit the mark of 5 crore footfalls in India and it’s a huge achievement in today’s time.

KGF: Chapter 2 has made over 900 crores in India (inclusive of all languages) while in Hindi alone, the film has collected 415.30 crores*. The film is the second highest-grossing film of all time, beating some big movies like Dangal, Tiger Zinda Hai, RRR, Baahubali: The Beginning and many more. However, the Prashanth Neel directorial venture has not been able to touch the benchmark that Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has set so far. Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer which collected Rs. 1346.90 crores has been claiming the top spot for a while now.

Unfazed about Ajay Devgn starrer Runway 34, Tiger Shroff starrer Heropanti 2 and even Marvel Cinematic Universe’s mega film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, KGF 2 continued to score big at the box office.

Post the success of KGF 2, the Rocky star Yash recorded a special message and shared it on social, saying, “I’m like that little boy who had the faith of witnessing this day. I’m in a situation where Thank You isn’t big enough but still, I would really want to thank each one of you from the bottom of my heart for pouring in so much love and blessings on me. Thank you, guys.”

Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF 2 also stars Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt, Sriniddhi Shetty and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. The film will have a third instalment as well.
