Khuda Haafiz 2 Box Office: Vidyut Jammwal starrer has a low first weekend business

The movie Khuda Haafiz 2 was released in theatres on Friday and saw a low start in the first weekend collections at the box office. The film stars Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi in key roles. Despite the competition with other movie release, Khuda Haafiz 2 witnessed a jump in the first Sunday box office collections. The third day collections of the movie showed some solid growth although it being of the action genre.

A Box Office India report said that the Vidyut Jammwal starrer made a collection of 5.75 crore nett in the first weekend. The film managed to collect 2.75 crore nett on the third day of the release. As per reports, the Aditya Roy Kapur film Rashtra Kavach Om did not have the same sort of trajectory that Khuda Haafiz 2 showed. The Vidyut starrer got a slow opening on the first day of its release with the collections approximately 1.25 crore nett.

According to the report, “Khuda Haafiz 2 collected a low 5.75 crore nett over the first weekend but it did show some solid growth for action film and the trend over the weekend is pretty good for the genre. Last week a similar film released like Rastra Kavach Om but that did not have this sort of trajectory.”

Bollywood Bubble gave the movie Khuda Haafiz 2 a review of 2.5 stars. An excerpt from the movie, heaping praise on the performance of Vidyut Jammwal read: “Vidyut Jammwal plays the role of Sameer Chaudhary, a layman who leads a normal life with his wife Nargis. Vidyut plays the father in this second instalment and he looks quite impressive as a devastated father.”
