There has been no stopping for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical drama ‘Padmaavat’ as it has done over Rs 400 crore worldwide. It stands at the eighth position in the highest grossers of all times list as the top spot is occupied by ‘Baahubali 2’ at Rs 802 crore followed by ‘Dangal’ at Rs 702 crore, ‘PK’ at Rs 616 crore, ”Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ at Rs 604 crore, ‘Sultan’ at Rs 577 crore, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ at Rs 555 crore and ‘Dhoom 3’ at Rs 524 crore.
While the movie stands at the eighth spot, it has become the highest worldwide grosser for Deepika Padukone as it has crossed the business of ‘Chennai Express’. The SRK and Deepika-starrer had raked in Rs 395 crore worldwide, and ‘Padmaavat’ has done Rs 400 crore. So, this officially earns Deepika her first movie into the Rs 400 crore bracket. Talking of the domestic collection, the movie has done around Rs 213.75 crore nett until now. It’s still to cross the gross domestic business of ‘Chennai Express’. However, the worldwide collection has anyway helped Deepika, Ranveer and Shahid to enter the Rs 400 crore club.
