The film Pushpa: The Rise, directed by Sukumar, was released last year. The film hit theatres on December 17, 2021, but continues to screen in theatres. Pushpa starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna is proving to be a blockbuster at the box office. Although the spike in COVID cases recently, the film continues to run smooth. Pushpa (Hindi) made a collection of Rs 24.27 crore nett at the box office and is currently inching closer to the 100 crore mark. The film is proving to be a superhit movie amid the pandemic after its collection in Hindi, only.

A Box Office India report said that the Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna continues to remain fantastic with a total sixth-week collection of three days. The collection is Rs 2.85 crore nett. The Pushpa (Hindi) collection has even surpassed the one of film 83 which is in the fifth week. Pushpa continues to maintain a strong hold at the box office even in its sixth week. The Allu Arjun film has made a total collection of Rs 94.30 crore nett in Hindi.

The report said, “Pushpa and 83 are in a race to reach 100 crore nett in Hindi and it remains to be seen which film gets there first. Even though the business of Pushpa is 5 crore nett less at the moment it will eventually go ahead of 83 but 83 could reach the 100 crore nett mark before.”

According to the report, “Pushpa (Hindi) which is now running in its sixth weekend is beating the all India business of 83 which is in its fifth week with collections from just one city. On Sunday Pushpa (Hindi) collect around 30 lakhs nett plus from Mumbai and its suburbs which is more than the all India collections of 83 on the same day.

Meanwhile, the film Pushpa has been released in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi languages. It is also streaming on Amazon Prime Video, currently.
