Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Sanju’ crosses Rs 100 crore mark at worldwide box office!

Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial ‘Sanju‘ is on a record-breaking spree. After collecting 34.75 crores on its opening day, the movie is now inching towards the 150cr mark. Until now, the film’s gross amount is Rs 91.68 Cr (73.35 crore net) and adding up the overseas amount which is Rs 25 crore, Ranbir Kapoor starrer now stands at the top with whopping Rs 116. 68 crores at the worldwide box office in mere two  days of its release.

Looking at the steady growth over the last two days, it is expected that the film will surpass the Rs 100 crore mark in the domestic market by today. Renowned film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh has also predicted the same and shared on his Twitter handle.

‘Sanju’ has not only proved to be Ranbir Kapoor’s career best performance but it is also a hit in comparison to his previous films. Till now, the movie has managed to break the records of many big banner movies including Salman Khan’s latest release ‘Race 3’, whose first-day collection was just rs 29crore. Besides ‘Race 3’, Hirani’s film has shattered the first-day collections of ‘Padmaavat’, ‘Baaghi2’ and has become the highest first-day opener of 2018.
