This Friday, Rani Mukerji’s ‘Hichki’ opened to mostly positive reviews at the box office. While it earned around Rs 3.25 Cr on the first day, we were expecting it to take a leap during the weekend, and it did. On Saturday, the box office collections showed 60% growth and the film minted Rs 5.25 Crore approx. On Sunday, it maintained a steady pace and also witnessed a 20-25% growth.
Hichki’s Sunday collection was around Rs 6.50 Cr. The film now stands with Rs 15 Cr in its kitty.
Since this is Rani Mukerji’s first film post pregnancy and is being touted as a comeback for her, sufficient curiosity is floating among the audience. At the same time, this seems to be the first Bollywood film, discussing Tourette Syndrome.

Next Friday, Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani’s ‘Baaghi 2’ hits the theatres. Till then, ‘Hichki’ is supposed to have a strong run.
