RRR box office: Ram Charan, Jr NTR starrer maintains pace as it scores big on Wednesday

SS Rajamouli is taking the audience and the box office by storm with his recently released film RRR starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn. The film which is set on the theme of freedom struggle and friendship has already crossed the 100 crore mark in just 5 days. Now, talking about the latest collections, RRR has collected Rs 13.50 crores on the first Wednesday at the box office, thus bringing the total to Rs 120 crores.

Going by the latest trends, the film dropped another 10-12% from the previous day which is still excellent compared to other films. The movies that have a hold strong on Monday and Tuesday sometimes fall more on Wednesday; however, RRR has maintained its pace as it scores big on day 6. If Rajamouli’s film continues to score then RRR can cross the 130 crore mark in the first week, thus making it the highest first-week post the pandemic.

Now, all the eyes are on the second week as RRR will face competition from John Abraham starrer Attack and Morbius which will be releasing this Friday. It is yet to be seen if those films will be a problem for RRR or will this film affect their box office business.

Day 1 – Friday: Rs 19 crores

Day 2 – Saturday: Rs 24 crores

Day 3 – Sunday: Rs 31.50 crores

Day 4 – Monday: Rs 16.75 crores

Day 5 – Tuesday – 15.25 crores

Day 6 – Wednesday – 13.50 crores

TOTAL – Rs 120 crores

Meanwhile, the RRR movie is the highest-grossing film at the worldwide box office in the last three days. The film has already crossed the Rs 500 crore mark in the worldwide markets.
