Salman Khan knows the pulse of his audience very well. Every year, the actor treats his fans and followers with a wholesome entertainer during the festive season. And this year too, viewers have been eagerly waiting for his Eidi in the form of his latest release ‘Bharat’. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial, that hit the silver screens today, is undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated films of this year.
Ever since ‘Bharat’ was announced, everyone was curious to know how exactly Zafar has adapted the South Korean film ‘Ode To My Father’. And as expected, the film is on a record-breaking spree even before its release. As per a report in Box Office India, ‘Bharat’ has minted around Rs 24 crore in advance bookings only. ‘Bharat’ is now one of the 6 films with the highest advance bookings (released in India).
‘Bharat’ is also one of the biggest releases ever for any Hindi film. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed that this Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer is being released worldwide across 6000 plus screens. Naturally, this makes ‘Bharat’ the biggest release of this year so far.

Buzz suggests that the film has witnessed around 60% occupancy early on Wednesday. And if that is anything to go by, then around 35 to 40 crore approx is expected to be the film’s opening collection.
So with such a wide release and the positive reviews the film has been garnering, this Salman Khan starrer is certainly going to break several records at the box-office.
