Salman Khan’s ‘Race 3’ has finally hit the theaters. On its first day, the film had an occupancy of 50% to 55% with many theatres going houseful. It went on to mint Rs. 29.17 crores, making it Salman Khan’s 3rd highest opening film on Eid till date. ‘Race 3’ also became the highest opening day film of 2018.
As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Remo D’Souza directorial has taken a gigantic leap and on its second day. It has earned a whopping Rs 38.14 crore taking the total to Rs 67.31 crore.
There were huge jumps in business in places like UP and Gujarat, especially the single screens which at places were 75-80% up. The overseas business is also going great guns, the film is on a course for a huge weekend outside India too. The film is expected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in its opening weekend. Like all Salman’s Eid releases this action dhamaka is expected to rule the box-office.
