The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri is now inching closer to the 100 crore mark, nationally, at the box office. The movie was released in cinemas last week, on Friday, March 11, and has maintained a successful run at the box office. The Vivek Agnihotri directorial has managed to maintain its extraordinary pace on Thursday, Day 7 of the release. The Kashmir Files revolves around the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits during the Kashmir insurgency. It focuses on the incidents that took place.

A Box Office India report said that The Kashmir Files has managed to collect 18 crore nett range on the last day of the first week. The movie has raked a total collection of around 95-96 crore nett at the box office.

According to the report, “The Kashmir Files has maintained its pace on the last day with collections in the 18 crore nett range. It may well be the highest day in its run again but that remains to be seen when the final collections come in the morning.”

As per the report, “The Kashmir Files had a phenomenal week of 95.50 crore nett as it ended the week with near record collections of 18 crore nett for a Thursday.” The report also mentioned that the box office collections of the movie was not affected by other releases. Despite the release of the Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon starrer Bachchhan Paandey, the movie collections are not affected.

Meanwhile, the movie stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar amongst others. It is directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced under the banner of Zee Studios.
