JugJugg Jeeyo box office: Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer maintains pace despite new releases

JugJugg Jeeyo has now entered the third week and it seems like the film is now maintaining its pace despite all the new movies that have been released now. Just last week, Rashtra Kavach Om and Rocketry – The Nambi Effect were released and this week, Vidyut Jammwal starrer Khuda Hafiz 2: Agni Pariksha and Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman starrer Thor: Love and Thunder were released. 

Despite facing competition from these new releases, JugJugg Jeeyo starring Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani holds well at the box office as it collected Rs 92 lacs on its third week. Adding the latest collection, the grand total stands to Rs 74.63 crore at the box office.

A few days ago, the JugJugg Jeeyo had crossed the 70 crore nett mark with the national collections. And, the movie surpassed the 100-crore mark, globally, a few days ago.

As per the report, “The lifetime of the film will be determined by the third Friday and as the drop has come on Thursday it may not drop on Friday which would keep it on course for an 80 crore nett finish.” The report further stated, “The film will see huge growth on Saturday as that NCR audience comes out again in numbers. Also if Friday does not drop it will mean a run for another two weeks as there is no Thor next week and the releases look weak.”

Bollywood Bubble gave 3.5 stars to the Raj Mehta directorial venture. A part of the review read, “Raj Mehta brings a wholesome entertaining family drama with JugJugg Jeeyo and does a good job. JugJugg Jeeyo is a wholesome family entertainer that is backed with heartwarming emotions. The Raj Mehta directorial venture gives a perfect blend of humour and sentiments. Whereas Varun, Kiara, Anil Kapoor and Maniesh’s crackling chemistry makes this a fantastic watch.”
