Box Office: Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya sees decent growth on Day 2, Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 does phenomenal on Second Saturday

Bhediya and Drishyam 2 Box Office collections: Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya released on Friday (November 25) and it received good responses from the fans as well as the critics. Varun’s Bhediya is expected to do well whereas Drishyam 2 is unstoppable at the box office. Varun has delivered a terrific performance in Bhediya. Fans are showering praise on him. Now, speaking about the box office collections, Bhediya saw a decent growth on its second day. Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya saw a growth of around 35-40% as it collected around 9.25 crore.

According to Box Office India report, Varun starrer Bhediya needed higher growth on Saturday due to the low first day but 35-40% jump is decent. The film is expected to do well if Sunday shows a good jump in numbers.

The two day collections of the film will be around 16 crore.

Apart from Varun and Kriti, Bhediya also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Abhishek Banerjee and Paalin Kabak. It is directed by Amar Kaushik. Bollywood Bubble gave Bhediya 4 stars. A part of the review read, “Bhediya is super entertaining and manages to live up to the expectations in more ways than one. It surely gets a thumbs-up for its novel idea.”

Day 2: Rs 9.25 cr

Now, talking about Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2, the film is doing great at the box office. Drishyam 2 had a phenomenal second Saturday. The film collected over 14 crore on its second Saturday. The 9 day total of the film is Rs 125 cr nett. The film is expected to cross the 200 cr nett mark.

According to Box Office India report, “The film has seen extraordinary growth all over with Mumbai/Gujarat are showing even more than extraordinary growth. There were centres in Gujarat Saurashtra which were strong on Friday and then almost double on Saturday. Sunday will be out of this world in this circuit.”

Drishyam 2 also stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav.

Week 1: Rs 103.50 cr

Second Friday: Rs 7.75 cr

Second Saturday: Rs 14 cr
