‘Veere Di Wedding’ maintains its upward trend at the box office

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania starrer ‘Veere Di Wedding’ is continuing its upward trend at the box office. Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor’s co-production is on a winning spree and now stands at a grand total of Rs 71.71 crore after Monday’s collection of Rs 2.3 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,

#VeereDiWedding is STEADY… [Week 2] Fri 3.37 cr, Sat 4.51 cr, Sun 4.84 cr, Mon 2.03 cr. Total: ₹ 71.71 cr. India biz.

The film has gone on to do a great business at the box office and collected around Rs 12.5 crore over its second weekend. At this rate it will cross Rs 75 crore mark in no time which is a good total for this film.

This Friday, Salman Khan’s ‘Race 3’ will release in theaters, which will affect the collections. But for a woman-centric movie it has managed to do good business at the box office.
