Vikram Vedha Box Office: Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan collects a low score in the first week

Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan starrer Vikram Vedha collected a low score at the box office in the first week. Directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, the film was released in theatres on last Friday, September 30. The Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha had made a collection of over 10 crore nett on the first day of the release. And, Vikram Vedha has been riding high on positive reviews from critics and the audience since the release day.

Vikram Vedha collected a low 59 crore nett in the first week, said a Box Office India report. The movie saw a huge drop in the collections, despite the high rise on the sixth day. The film managed to cross the  50 crore mark on the sixth day but didn’t make it to the 60 crore mark in the first week collections.

The Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan starrer made a collection of 3 crore nett on the seventh day at the box office. The film collected poorly on Day 7 after witnessing a massive spike on the Dussehra holiday. On day 6, Vikram Vedha had made a collection of 7.25 crore nett approx, despite the other releases at the box office, like Ponniyin Selvan 1.

Saturday – 12,75,00,000 apprx

Sunday – 14,50,00,000 apprx

Tuesday – 5,75,00,000 apprx

Wednesday – 7,25,00,000 apprx

Thursday – 3,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL – 59,00,00,000 apprx

According to the report, “The film now must hold collections on Friday in the same range as Thursday as that will the film a shot of 90 crore or maybe even 100 crore. This will still be a dull performance but at least it will a little more than a one week runner. The film could have given the industry a huge boost if the film worked coming on the heels of the success of Brahmastra but now its on to the Diwali releases.”

Meanwhile, Vikram Vedha also stars Radhika Apte, Sharib Hashmi and Rohit Saraf in key roles.
