Vikram Vedha Box Office: Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan starrer witnesses a growth in Day 3 collections

The movie Vikram Vedha has made modest first weekend collections at the box office. Directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, the film starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan was released in theatres on Friday. On the third day at the box office, the collections of Vikram Vedha witnessed a huge growth. The Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan starrer managed to rake a total collection of over 37 crore nett, despite the decent opening day collection of over 10 crore nett.

A Box Office India report said that the Pushkar and Gayatri directorial has made a total collection of 37.50 crore nett in the first weekend. The report mentioned that the collections were good in a few circuits. It further said that the word of mouth of the movie helped it have a good trajectory over the weekend.

According to the report, “Vikram Vedha had a modest first weekend of 37.50 crore nett though collections were good in a few circuits. The opening was not great but the bigger problem was the word of mouth of the film in mass circuits which did allow the film to have a good trajectory over the weekend.”

Day 1- Friday – 10,25,00,000 apprx

Day 2- Saturday – 12,75,00,000 apprx

Day 3- Sunday – 14,50,00,000 apprx

TOTAL – 37,50,00,000 apprx

As per the report, the movie saw a growth of 20% amid the festival season and national holiday. The report mentioned it was a decent score. The report said, “The film managed decent growth on Saturday for a film with such a wide release but the killer was Sunday as it was a national holiday for Gandhi Jayanti and growth should have been good and far better than a normal Sunday but here the film hardly managed to go up 20%.”
