EXCLUSIVE: Anushka Sharma to play a character like Stephen Hawking in ‘Zero’

A lot of buzz is generated around Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Zero’. While the first teaser of this film unveiled SRK’s look as a dwarf, the second teaser captured the adorable chemistry between SRK-Salman Khan. Superstar Salman Khan will appear in a special song in this Aanand L Rai directorial.

Our little birdie informs us that Katrina Kaif, who plays one of the leads in the film has a very interesting role. In the film, Katrina plays an actress who becomes an alcoholic after having a troubled relationship. However, not much is known about Anushka Sharma’s character in the film. Well, we have some really juicy details about Anushka’s role in this highly-anticipated film.

‘Zero’ is basically a story about two incomplete people and how they find completion in life. Each character has some major flaws – like Katrina is battling with post-break-up depression and her intimacy with the bottle, whereas SRK is vertically challenged. And Anushka plays a scientist, but with a twist. She’s a NASA scientist who suffers from cerebral palsy. Her character is loosely modelled on physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking’s life. Hawking, too is known for his several inventions and contribution when it comes to technology and science, but he suffered from the same disease. Stephen breathed his last on March 14 this year.
